Shipping and Handling

The majority of the fixtures shipped are drop shipped from their respective manufacturers. Shipping charges are based on total price of orders and will ship UPS ground or FedEx ground. In the event that merchandise is oversized and will not ship small parcel, we will contact you to arrange a common carrier freight line as well as discuss freight quotes. We apologize but we cannot ship to a PO Box.

Privacy Policy

Universal Lights Inc. does not sell or lend any customer information to any third party.

Warranties

All merchandise sold is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If the merchandise purchased is found to be defective please call customer services at 281-491-0881 for assistance in processing a claim. Universal Lights Inc. will not be responsible or liable for any installtion expenses occurred on your behalf. You must contact us for an RGA and return instructions. We receive the merchandise back and inspect it. Once we locate the defect, we will replace the merchandise at no additional shipping charge to you. Universal Lights Inc. is not responsible for any costs associated with shipment delays. Universal Lights Inc. strongly suggests that any professional services required to install your merchandise not be scheduled until your order has arrived and you have inspected it.

Shipping Damage

Please inspect all packages carefully upon receipt. If you receive your purchased freight in damaged condition you must file a claim with the shipping company. Universal Lights Inc. does not take any responsibility for items damaged in shipment.

Defective Merchandise

In the rare event of a manufacturer defect, please call or email us with a detailed description of the problem or issue. A Member of our customer service team will instruct you on how to go about getting your merchandise replaced or the necessary parts expedited to you. Take a digital photograph of the defect or damage and send us that information in an email.

Return Policy

All merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. You must call our customer services at 281-491-0881 for an RGA number before returning the merchandise. Returns must be in the original manufacturer's packaging, new, and uninstalled. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and will be less the original freight charge. You must return a copy of your receipt with the return or your return will not be accepted. There are no returns on orders over $500.00. There are no returns allowed on bulbs, replacement glass, fan controllers, ceiling fan down rods, or parts. A "part" is anything other then a complete fixture or fan. Under no circumstances will returns be authorized or accepted after 30 days.

Cancellation

If you want to cancel an order you must contact Universal Lights Inc. at 281-491-0881. If the product has not been shipped, and we have verified that it has not shipped via the manufacturer we will issue a full refund. Once the item has shipped you cannot cancel or reroute the shipment. Do not refuse the delivery of the product. Doing so may result in the loss of your merchandise, a 50% restocking fee will be charged, and it may void the possibility of a return and refund. You may also be charged for a round trip shipping costs.

Tries in good faith to make sure the information displayed is accurate, we are not responsible for typographical errors or technical inaccuracies. Billing Policies

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as appropriate forms of payment. All items are charged to your card at the time of purchase. No online orders will be shipped if not paid in full.
